In the second half, Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber owns a 28.2% strikeout rate and 8.2% walk rate. Since the start of June, he hasn't posted a single-month strikeout rate lower than 27%, and he's put up a single-digit swinging-strike rate in just one of his last 13 starts. The ability to gets swings and misses always gives Kluber a safe floor and massive ceiling.

Kluber gets a home matchup against the Kansas City Royals, who sit 27th in wOBA (.307). While Kluber has been on fire since the All-Star break, the Royals have been ice cold with a .297 wOBA in that span, and they boast a lowly 3.19 implied total for this one.
