4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/21/16
Kenta Maeda faces a struggling Giants' offense and should go overlooked with a lot of big-name pitchers on the slate.

Cesar Hernandez, 2B, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Philadelphia Phillies face stud lefty Chris Sale on Wednesday and only have an implied team total of 3.12 runs. As a result, many Phillies will be under-owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Cesar Hernandez faces a tough matchup, he has been pretty hot with the stick recently. Over his last 17 contests, Hernandez has scored 9 FanDuel points or more 11 times.

Sale, meanwhile, is actually far better at home -- sporting a 3.28 xFIP at home, but a 3.80 xFIP on the road. Sale will face the Phillies in Citizens Bank Park, the top-ranked venue in terms of home run factor, and he is allowing a 32.3% hard-hit rate to right-handers.

It's always scary to roster anyone against a pitcher of Sale's caliber, but Hernandez is a nice, cheap dart throw.
