4 Under-the-Radar FanDuel MLB Plays for 9/6/16
In the midst of a cold stretch, Travis Jankowski has a sweet matchup against Clay Buchholz.

Jake Odorizzi, P, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $8,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With Corey Kluber and Aaron Sanchez both taking the bump Tuesday and Vegas installing the Washington Nationals and Gio Gonzalez as heavy favorites (-210), Jake Odorizzi makes for a sneaky play.

Why You Should Use Him:

Odorizzi's numbers don't jump off the page as he's logged a 4.13 SIERA and 4.41 xFIP. Odorizzi, however, is far better at home with a 4.12 xFIP, which is more than half a run better than his road mark (4.77 xFIP).

While Odorizzi's second-half strikeout and walk rates have been marginally worse than his first-half numbers, one improvement he has made is cutting down on home runs, lowering his home-runs-per-nine-innings mark from 1.46 in the first half to 0.95 in the second half.

Combine that with a Baltimore Orioles squad that strikes out 21.9% of the time against right-handed pitching, and Odorizzi makes for a quality under-the-radar play.
