Jefry Marte, 3B, Los Angeles Angels

Jefry Marte has looked pretty solid from the plate in his sophomore season, slashing .257/.300/.481 with a .330 wOBA, .225 ISO and a huge 37.0% hard-hit rate through 203 plate appearances. That production also comes despite a .274 BABIP, and there's some reason to believe his numbers will continue to improve.

He has a great matchup tonight as he takes on Brandon Finnegan and the Cincinnati Reds.

Finnegan has a shaky 4.27 ERA, which accompanied by an ugly 5.04 SIERA, through 26 starts this season. He has an 11.5% walk rate and 18.8% strikeout rate, both of which represent a big step back from his 2015 numbers. The Angels have a nice 4.88 implied total tonight, and this is a great matchup for Marte.
