Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With a 7-11 record and a 4.31 ERA on the year, Robbie Ray's 2016 statistics don't jump off the page for either tournament or cash games. Aces like Max Scherzer and Cole Hamels are sure to garner a lot of the attention on the Thursday slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Ray has been an absolute beast in the second half of 2016, logging an xFIP of 2.49. In addition, he's seen a spike in his strikeout rate of 7.9%, from 26.0% to 33.9%.

Ray will take on the Atlanta Braves, who, outside of a red-hot Freddie Freeman, have been pretty woeful against left-handed pitching this year. They rank dead last in the league in wOBA (.285) versus southpaws while striking out 20.6% of the time.
