The Washington Nationals have a great matchup as they take on Wade Miley and the Baltimore Orioles.

Miley is having a rough season. His 5.58 ERA is a career-worst clip while his 4.52 SIERA is his highest since his 2011 rookie campaign. His 17.2% strikeout rate is also his worst since 2011.

He has been especially bad against right-handed hitters this year, allowing a .364 wOBA, and that makes this a great matchup for Ryan Zimmerman.

Zimmerman is having a down year, but with a career-low .253 BABIP despite his 34.8% hard-hit rate -- which is barely below his 35.0% career average -- he has likely been hitting better than his numbers show.

Those batted-ball numbers are even better if we look at his splits against left-handed pitching. Versus southpaws, he has an impressive 40.7% hard-hit rate and only a 7.4% soft-hit rate. With a good matchup tonight, he should be able to find some success.
