Danny Duffy, SP, Kansas City Royals

Danny Duffy has been straight dealing of late. Over his last 16 starts, he's sporting a 28.9% strikeout rate, 5.2% walk rate and 3.18 SIERA. Through 14 2/3 frames this month, Duffy's strikeout rate is a ridiculous 41.5%.

Sure, 16 starts isn't a huge sample size, but his 14.1% swinging-strike rate this year is as legit as it gets.

It's weird to say this about a guy who posted a 4.63 SIERA last season, but Duffy is one of the best pitchers in baseball right now.

Tonight, he gets a nice home matchup against the Chicago White Sox, who own a 22.3% strikeout rate against southpaws and have struggled to a .302 wOBA on the road this season.

With Kauffman Stadium ranking 26th in home run factor and Duffy not priced like the ace he is, he's hard to pass up in any format on a slate this small.
