CHATEAUNEUF (1) ran on strongly down the Sha Tin straight last time out and comes to Happy Valley for the first time. He did win a trial at this course prior to his debut. Purton may need some luck from the outside alley, but the extra 1f will suit and he looks to have found a suitable race. COLONEL (11) has gone under his past few, but has led the field up and ran good figures in the process. He remains right down in the weights and should be able to find the front from a handy draw. Will take plenty of beating if he gets it all his own way. LEAN MASTER (8) is hard to knock on recent performances and gets some weight relief today with Ellis Wong in the saddle. Won't have to work as hard as he has done his past couple to find a spot and he can put his best foot forward. NEW POWER (12) is ticking along nicely and is not to be discounted.
