#4 Merzaz – Gulfstream Park R4 (2:43 PM ET)

Merzaz is difficult to overlook in view of the drop in grade. A two-time winner at this track from just the six starts, he should take some stopping back in claiming company. #9 Hachure – Laurel Park R5 (3:50 PM ET )

Hachure has gradually progressed and holds better claims than most. The four-year-old son of Tapit ran a close third on his return and is taken to build on that reappearance.
