Tampa Bay Downs gives us nine races to bet on Wednesday afternoon. Who should you wager on at FanDuel Racing?

Starting at 1:00 p.m. EST, we have nine races at Tampa Bay Downs. Using our projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets.

Jimmy D, Race 1

FD Racing Odds: 6/1

UPDATE: Jimmy D has been scratched from the race, so Tiz Samurai is now projected to win in numberFire's model.

numberFire's daily projections have Jimmy D taking Race 1, providing solid value at 6/1 odds on FanDuel Racing.

Jimmy D doesn't have amazing recent form (4-5-9-5-7) but compares favorably to this field with one of the highest speed ratings on DailyHorsePicks.com.

Furthermore, the favorite, Happy Wanderer (5/2), hasn't exactly been tearing it up lately either (5-7-7-10-9).

If Jimmy D's track record scares you a bit, then you can also take a shot on Tiz Samurai (7/2), who beat Jimmy D in their last race (second) and had a nice string of races to wrap up 2019 with two firsts and a third. Tiz Samurai is projected to finish second in numberFire's model.

Big Yes, Race 8

FD Racing Odds: 8/1

At 8/1 odds, Big Yes is worth a look in Race 8 as the projected winner in our model.

Big Yes' recent form is all over the place, winning two of the last five races while also mixing in a 10th, 9th, and 7th. Still, one of those wins came in his most recent race and was the same distance (seven furlongs).

Big Yes also ranked third in his most recent workout earlier this month, which could also be a positive sign.

Valiant Virtue, Race 9

FD Racing Odds: 4/1

Valiant Virtue has pretty good odds to win the final race of the day but comes in at a slightly better value than Uncork The Bottle (2/1) and Matty's Express (3/1).

The gelding has performed well in three of the past four races (2-7-1-2), all of which came at this distance (one mile). Valiant Virtue also tops the field in terms of speed rating on DailyHorsePicks.com.
