Daily Fantasy Golf Weather Report for THE PLAYERS Championship
It's shaping up to be a gorgeous weekend in northern Florida for THE PLAYERS.
Let's break down the forecast for the weekend. (It'll be quick.)
According to Dark Sky, it's going to be quite a nice weekend for golf in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Rain is practically off the radar entirely, and winds won't be very impactful.
For the 7:10 a.m. EST tee times, golfers will begin with temperatures around 70 and winds at 7 miles per hour, pretty much the stiffest they'll be all day. There's no chance of rain, and you can't really ask for a much better day of golf. This forecast certainly shouldn't impact your player selection.
Friday is shaping up similarly, as the temperatures will be same for the first golfers to tee off. Winds will stick below 10 miles per hour for most of the day, and rain won't be a factor.
Temperatures will range from 70 to 85 during playing hours, and rain could be in the mix here. Precipitation odds are north of 50% from around 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Still, that's not actionable from a player selection standpoint.
If any delays occur because of rain on Saturday, Sunday will be a prime day to finish up. There's no chance of rain impacting things, and we're looking at the same types of temperatures and mild winds below 10 miles per hour.
It's a great weekend forecast for a big-time tournament, one that features 55 of the top 60 golfers by the Official World Golf Rankings. Don't let any weather concerns impact your player selection.
