Draft Strategy
What is the best draft strategy for a 12 man league, standard scoring, drafting 6th in a snake draft? The position options are 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 K, 6 Bench spots. Keeper is Alshon Jeffery or Jeremy Langford.

I'd recommend you check out numberFire's draft kit, with a link to the set up sheet as well as the big board:

There you can adjust the settings to the exact scoring/settings of your league to figure out how you should rank your players and start from there.

I've always gone K/DEF/Backup K in the first 3 rounds and that strategy always works out pretty good. Seriously though, I'd just take the best available RB or WR at pick 6 and go from there. Don't let your keeper (I'd probably go Alshon, but whatever you decide) influence your pick as you'll need multiple good RB's and WR's anyway. I usually go late for QB and TE, but be willing to be flexible if one is falling farther than you think they should. Finally, I'd fill my bench with as many RB's as you can get as you're always going to lose a few to injury during the season.

Haha definitely need that back up kicker. I have been essentially taking your approach and going best available. I have noticed I end up with David Johnson/Todd Gurley for my first pick and then Doug Martin/Jamaal Charles for my 2nd pick when I go RB RB for rounds 1 & 2. My WRs typically end up being some combination of Eric Decker, Doug Baldwin, Michael Floyd, Allen Hurns, Travis Benjamin.

You're going to want to keep Alshon over Langford, assuming those are your only two options.

Sadly my options are Randall Cobb, Alshon Jeffery, Jeremy Langford, Tyler Eifert, Dion Lewis. None of which I consider a 1st round keeper.
