PPR Keeper League Trade: Devonta Freeman for Jordy Nelson or Brandin Cooks (Settled)
On its face Freeman has much much more value, but my other running backs are David Johnson, Mark Ingram, Dion Lewis, Jeremy Hill, and Ameer Abdullah.

My WRs are Julian Edelman, Jeremy Maclin, and Jordan Matthews. I feel I can flip Freeman for a clear stud WR1. The question is, would Nelson and Cooks provide that? Yahoo PPR.

Epilogue: Thanks everyone for your advice - ultimately flipped him for Keenan Allen. I feel good about that - many thanks to all.

You have some nice depth at RB and have the right idea here, but I think you should be aiming just a little higher if you plan to trade Freeman. Cooks is probably fair, but I'd be looking to take advantage of a perceived down year by Mike Evans, an injury plagued season for Alshon Jeffrey or Sammy Watkins broken foot. Hey, try for AJ Green!

Nelson just turned 31 yesterday and with his greatest asset being a downfield threat, coming off an ACL, he is unlikely to produce at his normal high level for much longer (if at all).

In PPR, Cooks is still ascending, but I'm not so confident his TD production hovers around double digits. And, in my book, TD's are still king. That's why I lean to the other WR's I mentioned. I would be offering Ingram in exchange for Cooks instead.

Trade for Cooks and don't look back; timeshare coming in ATL, Freeman will be the next Gio Bernard

You are probably right about a timeshare in ATL. And, like I said, Cooks is probably fair. But, with 2 months before training camp competition heats up, I'm taking that time to shop around to get the best deal I can. I'm betting someone will be buying Freeman's production from last year (even though it's keeper and people should be looking forward, not back).

What about Allan Robinson? The Jags seem to have strengthened the O-line and Robinson is only getting better.
