Kill a roster spot to keep for next year?
ok I'm in a 10 team standard league where we get to keep 3 players each year in the round they were drafted + a one round penalty. I'm incredibly deep. I kept Odell Beckham in the 16th, Latavius Murray in the 10th and Lacy in the 4th.

Keepers picked up from the WW get kept in the 16th (10th for the second WW keeper if you have two 5th round for the 3rd WW ifyou have 3)

A guy drafted Jordy this year very late so he can keep him next year but Kelvin didnt get drafted at all. Is it worth it for me to pick him up and hold on to him for the year to be able to keep him in the 16th? It would give me Kelvin in the 16th, Odell in the 15th and then Lacy in the 3rd or Latavius in the 9th (trade bait for one)

Heres my lineup. I think im deep enough to do it but im not sure its worth my time?

QB: Brees, Newton
RB: Lacy, Latavius, Stewart, Blount, D Cobb
WR: Demaryius, Odell, Hopkins, Torrey Smith, Funchess
TE: Bennett, Witten
D: Indianapolis
K: Tucker

And who do i drop? Funchess?

Thanks guys

It's just going to depend on your ability to weather through bye weeks and injuries keeping 1 slot on your bench reserved for someone who will never play. Might as well give it a try to start the season, and if you get lucky with players staying healthy and whatnot, you're golden. If you end up having to drop him, then try to turn around and pick him right back up once you've got the space. In my opinion, I'd be doing whatever I could to lock up that kind of value next year. It's generally how people win Keeper leagues, esp. when an astronomical 30 players get kept each year.

I like Benjamin and think is will go far. I would drop Funchess and hope the rest stay healthy
