Looking for different successful strategies for draft positions/rounds from league winners.
I usually get 2 RBs, then 2 WRs, TE, QB, repeat... defense towards end., kicker last. (I've won the last 3 years in a 10 team league)

So, playing in an average of 2-3 leagues per year, I've won at least one league every year for 3 straight years now...so, taking that for what's its worth to you, I will say that I've never once, with any of my championship teams, felt like I won my league through the draft. It's important, I suppose, but I've always felt like I've won through stellar in-season management. Last year, for example, I had Jeremy Hill and Odell Beckham on my team. Neither of them got drafted in that league...but by reading articles, listening to podcasts, and staying in touch with news on sources like Twitter, I picked up OBJ a week before he even came back from his injury, and I picked up Jeremy Hill after his first stellar game, well before Gio got hurt and he became the starters. In-season management is so much more of a valuable skill, in my opinion, because all kinds of crazy things are going to happen throughout the season...injuries, depth charts ebbing and flowing, etc...information is the golden currency of fantasy football.

All that being said, as far as your draft strategy goes, I would advice you to dump any sort of structure, like the one you have listed. More often than not, it will drive you to make picks at bad value...for example, if you've got your 2 RBs and WRs, and try to find a TE in round 5...if you're locked in to HAVING to draft a TE then, it might cause you to reach for a guy that has no business being drafted in the 5th round. What I usually do is come up with a rankings list that I trust. I usually work off of a stock list, and go through and re-order my top 200 the way I think it should be. I don't usually make monumental changes, but most rankings lists are written for the masses, and its ok to disagree with them at certain points. Then, going in to a draft, my strategy is basically just to pick the best player available, as I have them ranked. If that means I pick 3 RBs in a row and don't draft a WR until round 7, then so be it.

You have to look at both sides of the coin when you do things this way, rather than just look at the negative, or what you're "not getting." Focus on what you ARE getting, by drafting the best players you can and acquiring strong building blocks for your team. There will always be WW studs that pop up throughout the season, and if you're on top of your stuff, more often than not, you'll compensate for potentially being weak at any position by smart WW play.

Upvoted Ajay 5 times for that post. Top notch and agree with everything he said.

As far as any "strategy," I always want to ensure I have a guy I know will be a RB1 and a guy I know will be a WR1 on my roster. That said, more often than not my first two rounds typically end up going RB and then WR. From there, unless Gronk slips to round 3 (he won't) or Rodgers/Luck slip to round 4 (they won't) I'm stacking my RB and WR positions. This year in particular I am very on board the Kelce hype train and if he is there at round 6 I definitely consider pulling the trigger.

More often than not I have 10 RB/WRs before I ever draft a different position. Gives you tons of trade bait later in the year, makes it easier to deal with injuries, and all the 1 start positions (QB, TE, D/ST, K) can easily be streamed. ESPECIALLY QB. The editor-in-chief at numberfire (JJ Zachariason) does a podcast every week called living the stream that is all about streaming those positions. Ever since I started waiting on the easily replaceable positions I've dominated the majority of my leagues
