Auction Draft Advice
This year my league is switching to an auction draft, just wanted some advice about what would be the best way to approach it. What I have done for now is used Numberfire's draft kit to see what my draft could look like - below is what I came out with:

RB1 ($35-40): Lacy / Le'Veon / Forte / Foster
RB2 ($27-30): Anderson / Hill / Morris (/ Murray or Shady for slightly more)
WR1 ($25): Green / Cobb / Jeffery
RB3 ($22): Forsett / Gordon / Gore
WR2 ($17- 19): Hopkins / Benjamin / Matthews (/ Evans for slightly more)
RB4 ($16-18): Stewart / Randle / Ellington / Yeldon / Blount (/ Spiller for less)
WR3 ($10-15): Marshall / Cooks / Cooper / Landry / Agholor / Martavis / VJax
WR4 ($5-7): Robinson / White / Terrance Williams
QB1 ($10): Cam / Romo / Rivers (/ Roethlisberger or Tannehill)
TE1 ($5): Ertz / Allen / Walker
K & D/ST ($3): don't really care

which should leave me with around $10 for the remaining 4 roster spots.

Does this strategy look ok - basically trying to get guys listed above in the listed price range? Any recommended alternatives?

In my auction experience, you can snag kickers, defenses, and quarterbacks for about a dollar if you stream quarterbacks.

There are plenty of tight ends with upside who could be had at a low price, like you seem to be aware of. A good strategy can be creating a per-position cap, too. Like allotting 40% of your cap to RBs, 40% to WRs, and 20% to the rest, depending on what you value most.

Looks like you're targeting a lot of good players, but always approach auctions with an open mind. If Jamaal Charles can be had for $45, would you do it? That kind of stuff. Auctions just never go as planned!

Another in-draft tip is relying on your tiers. If Lacy and Le'Veon go and Forte and Foster are left in your "top" tier, then whoever gets put up first will likely go for the smaller amount. If owners still know they have a chance at Foster, they might save on Forte, thinking there's still a "top" player left and they'll try to let others overspend, but that doesn't always work that way. If they miss out on the first thee, they might attack that fourth guy heavy.

    Hope some of this helps.
