Questions
Joseph Randle
Ok, so I am in the championship with someone who has Demarco Murray. I am currently #1 on waiver wire picks. I don't need Randle but thought about picking him up in sort of a cock block way so the guy I am playing cannot pick him up as Murray's handcuff. Is it even worth it? He has Doug Martin as a back up right now so that would likely force him to play Martin which could potentially backfire on me anyways. Randle could possibly be a threat if he gets 12 or more touches which is very reasonable considering how they run Demarco. I am just brainstorming here. What does any one else think of this scenario? Maybe I am just thinking too much about it and Randles not even on his radar.

yeah you pick him up. i have demarco and am hoping to pick him up this week for the championship. early report from cowboyws.com is that demarco says he is playing, which makes sense. dallas has to win this game to stay in the playoffs and it is his non carrying hand. get him anyways.

Thank you, I have him set to get off waivers tomorrow morning. It does make sense for demarco to play in this scenario. We will see what happens I guess. Good luck to you!

    Absolutely pick him up.

I did the opposite of that. I have Murray, and when he seemed to survive the game without injury I dropped Randle for a defense my championship opponent would likely be targeting. Now I feel like an idiot, of course. I would much rather play Randle than Martin if Murray sits out. Pick up Randle to screw him over.

Good. Even if Murray plays, you don't get any points for finishing the season with the #1 waiver. =)
