Playoff Advice: Planning for Ds or Backing up Gronk
Trying to plan my strategy for the playoffs. I have Ravens D for week 15 when they play JAX and looking for a week 16 (Ravens play HOU who is just ok). I picked up Tim Wright as Gronk insurance but wondering if I should drop Wright (or Ronnie Hillman from DEN) in favor of the Browns who play CAR week 16? Thoughts?

1Patrick Sullivan (197 Reputation Points)Make up your mind after the game tomorrow. If Gronk does get hurt, it's not like Tim Wright automatically becomes a world beater. There are too many other quality options on that offense.4 Comments↳Kyle (208 Reputation Points)I think his red zone looks get a more consistent boost though. I am first in my league by quite a bit so the weekend is a bye for me, just strategizing for 15/16.↳Patrick Sullivan (197 Reputation Points)It may be worth the add on D then. You can never have enough quality defensive matchups ion your playoff arsenal. I'm lucky in that I get Buff against Oakland week 16.↳Kyle (208 Reputation Points)Yeah, I think you're right. Browns are playing CAR who has given opposing D an astonishing 89 points in the last 5 weeks.. think I should take that gift while I can. Buff prob has best week 16, but GB week 15 will be rough.↳Patrick Sullivan (197 Reputation Points)You're right. Gonna roll out the Ram's D next week...hope I don't regret stashing them.

0reignman (446 Reputation Points)i would keep wright. if gronk goes down, replacement te probably tough to come by. i think hillman is a safe drop. cj isn't giving up the job unless he gets hurt and hillman isn't practicing yet. definitely pick up solid defense to play in title week.
