Am I crazy to consider this?
8-team 0.5 PPR league.
QB: Brady, Romo, Cutler
RB: Murray, Charles, Foster
WR: Megatron, AJ Green, Evans, Gordon, Benjamin, Beckham
TE: J. Thomas, Rivera

We start 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 flex. I am really pushing to try to trade for Aaron Rodgers, but his owner is being stubborn. Even though he needs help at WR, he won't accept a package with guys like Evans, Benjamin, or Beckham.

Would I be crazy to offer up something like Megatron+Brady or Green+Brady for Rodgers? I have very capable replacements at WR.

    I don't think you would be getting the right value back. Food for thought: I just traded Gordon + Cutler + Fred Jackson for Luck + Trent Richardson + Vincent Jackson. Brady and Megatron should get you Rodgers + a solid WR.

    Of course I'm not getting fair value back. That's besides the point. Does it make my team (in particular the starting lineup) stronger?

    I don't think I would bother. The gain from Brady to Rodgers isn't that substantial, and you'd be losing about the same thing at WR. Also, it sounds like giving him Megatron / Green will make his team a lot better, so unless you think this guy is not going to be competitive with you then you are probably hurting yourself making the trade

    In that case yeah I think it probably makes your team slightly stronger. Probably prefer to give up AJ Green than Megatron - AJ plays the Browns in week 15.

    well, depending on what your offer was including benjamin, beckham, etc, i probably wouldn't trade rodgers either. You said WR is your strong point, so use your assets to get him. Gordon, Brady, Beckham.
