Play a defense this week?
I snagged Big Ben on the waivers this week and never got a chance to pick up a good D. I had to drop my D to get big ben because I traded Sankey + Ben Tate for Kelvin Benjamin and I didn't have room til trade finished.

Would you even bother starting a defense, or just pick one up for the next couple weeks? I'm 5-3, tied for first but I have the most points in my 10 man standard league. I'm playing the second place team but he has Forte, Roddy White & more on bye also.

Defenses available are:

Bills (bye) Friday Waivers, and I'm #7. I might still be able to pick them up. Leaning towards doing this.

Vikings
Ravens
Steelers
Packers
Bears

Any of these be worth keeping for the next couple weeks?

    You have an incredible bench. Try to trade some away for an upgrade at QB (unless you REALLY like Ben the rest of the way). Trade away more players than you get and then pick up a D or get one in the trade.

    Don't ever go without a defense. There's always someone you can drop, even if you have to stream something a couple weeks. You'll feel incredibly stupid if you lose by 2.

    defenses can have negative points... also the bills schedule going forward looks pretty sick

    the ravens defense has been solid all season. they and pittsburgh always have slugfest defensive struggles. go with them.
