TE troubles.
Well, crap. Owen Daniels, who I felt all smart picking up, has now been ruled out for the week, and perhaps for a couple more weeks to follow.

So, I need a fill-in. Delanie Walker, who I dropped to snag Daniels, is still available. Beyond that are the likes of Coby Fleener, Clay Harbor, Jace Amaro, and Gavin Escobar. I quick snagged Walker back, but I'm wondering if Harbor might be better. Walker's on bye next week, and Harbor has a so-so matchup this week (MIA), but then @CIN and DAL the next two after that, which are fantastic.

What should I do? Go with Walker with an unknown QB this week and then scramble for another fill-in next week, or go with someone like Harbor or Fleener, hold my nose, and ride it out?

I think I'd go with Delanie Walker but I might take a chance on Coby Fleener since Reggie Wayne may be out this week. Yes, it's truly a difficult call to make. Your options are so limited, you might as well opt for the guy with the biggest upside. In other words, pick a guy whose team is more likely to win and hope for the best.

Walker would be a pretty easy call if I knew anything about the tendancies of his new QB. I know he's immobile, so he may have to check down a lot, but SO many unknowns. Fleener COULD pick up more targets with Wayne out, or Allen could absorb them all. And Clay Harbor looks to have the best matchups, but starting someone from the Jags is a terrifying prospect. AAAAGH. I'm leaning Walker based on how important he is to his team, but MAN this sucks.

I agree. Playing anybody on the Jags is either ballsy or stupid. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. The "experts" are buzzing about Harbor.
