TRADE Question: Jamaal Charles or Eddie Lacy for Dez Bryant or Calvin Johnson
I have been offered my choice Eddie Lacy or Jamaal Charles in exchange for Dez or Calvin Johnson.

He gives me: Eddie Lacy or Jamaal Charles
I give him: Dez or Megatron

We are in a keeper league, and I'd be getting Lacy who can be kept in the 6th round of next years draft.

My team is 1-6 and my season is over which is why I'm leaning towards Lacy, which would only cost me a 6th round pick next season. I forgot to mention that Megatron was a round one pick, Dez was Round 2. So there really isn't much value in keeping them. Much better value keeping someone like Lacy in the 6th (drafted 6th round in 2013) or Andre Ellington (7th round pick in 2013) which would have been in much higher rounds in 2014.

    The only reason I wouldn't lean toward Lacy is because the coaching staff doesnt value him as highly now, and he hasn't honestly been that great. He needs a ton of volume, because he's averaging under 4 YPC. Why not just keep Dez AND Megatron and tear it up next year? If you want my opinion, and have to take an RB, I'd go with Charles. And to me, Dez and Megatron is somewhat of a toss up, both insanely good, but Calvin is probably better long term.

    Id say hold onto them. I dont see their value dropping. Wait for another couple weeks, and youll have a much clearer picture of who are the best keeper candidates (leveon bell? gio bernard? steve smith? maybe odell beckham blows up?). If youre quitting on the year, time is not of the essence to you, and I think these players' value goes up as teams need to make runs during the playoffs. Id hold for now, see if the offers get better in a couple weeks
