Questions
Accept this trade?
I think this trade helps both teams. I need an elite WR and he needs some RBs.

His WRs: Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith Sr, Reggie Wayne, Devonte Adams
My WRs: Kelvin Benjamin, Doug Baldwin, Michael Crabtree, Keenan Allen, Vincent Jackson

His RBs: Rashad Jennings, Atone Smith, Bryce Brown, Chris Johnson
My RBs: Eddie Lacy, Ahmad Bradshaw, Joique Bell, Braden Oliver, Jerick McKinnon

He gives me Brandon Marshall and Russell Wilson for Eddie Lacy, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Doug Baldwin (I wanted Dez, but he keeps offering Marshall instead)
My other QB is Cutler which I'm trying to make a trade to this guy who's starting QB is Derick Carr (I"m trying to get either Lamar Miller or Andre Johnson in the trade)
Should I accept for demand Dez (pretty good trade I think, but he is struggling big time for RBs and maybe I can use that as leverage to get Dez?) If the trade gets done today, we can have the players Sunday morning before kickoffs. What do you guys think?

I think youre seriously undervaluing your RBs. Bradshaw is an absolute beast - hes a top 5 running back right now. If you were to redraft for this season, right now, based on what we know, bradshaw would be a first round pick. Not saying he wont regress to the mean a little, but hes proven to be productive and consistent, which is tremendously valuable (as a comp - I just traded bradshaw and odell beckham for Calvin Johnson and Cam Newton)

It also matters where you are in your league, and how badly you need to make a move. Maybe taking the risk on the low end RBs is just the strategy you need. If you absolutely insist on making a trade like this, you absolutely need to 1) complete the cutler for miller trade first and 2) get dez not bmarsh

Id say dont do this. If you give up both Lacy and Bradshaw youre left somewhat thin at RB. A guy in a timeshare (Bell), a guy whos keeping the seat warm, and then best case scenario in a time share (Oliver) and a guy who is largely unproven, but had a couple good weeks (McKinnon). I definitely wouldnt be comfortable with them as my RB corps.

I would try to do a one for one move of Lacy / Bradshaw for Dez / Marshall. I agree that an elite WR would really help you, but I think youre giving up way too much here. RBs are a more valuable commodity (theres fewer legit startable ones) and WRs tend to be a bit more flukey - their highs may be higher, but their lows are also lower (i.e. B-Marsh had less than 1 point at halftime last week).

I think your team is substantially worse if you make this trade.

I'd be trying to trade Cutler to another guy to try to get Lamar Miller (Miller has been sitting on the guy's bench for a while, his other RBs are Lynch and Forsett)

First of all, dont think trying to make a trade is the same as completing that trade. Dont get caught holding the bag.
