Forward Thinking: Week 9 D/STs

Sticking with my beloved Lions D/ST this week, in London in an early game against the stumbling Falcons. But the Lions are on bye next week and I need a fill-in. Trying to get one now before I'm racing other owners next week.

I've already picked up the Cincinnati Bengals (at home vs Jacksonville), but the following have become available this week due to a lot of add/drops by other owners (listed with their Week 9 matchup):

San Francisco 49ers (v. St. Louis Rams)
San Diego Chargers (@ Miami Dolphins)
Arizona Cardinals (@ Dallas Cowboys)

So, stick with the Bengals facing the Jaguars at home, or go with one of those other options? Thanks for the help!

I would take ARI out of your options. I would probably stick with the Bengals a good defense that has just been having a rough stretch the Jags will help them get back on track.

So you go with the Bengals? But you'd recommend picking up the Cardinals? I probably should have noted I'm keeping the Lions through their bye; they are THAT good this year and have some great matchups down the stretch. If they're still there, though, I'd love to have the Cards after Week 9 if I can find room for two defenses.

I am in the same boat as you, trying to figure out a way to get past week 9 and keep the Lions for the rest of the season. Hard to go wrong picking against the Jags, that would be my bet. If they're available, KC v. NYJ is another good option.
