Trade Randall Cobb for Drew Brees straight up? 10 team league; standard scoring.
I'm looking at the play-offs which is the last three games of the regular season in my league and Brees has Chicago, Atlanta (at NO), and Tampa Bay which seems pretty juicy. Right now my roster is the walking wounded but I'm still in first somehow. Do I sacrifice short term and look at my end game? Here's my roster:

QB - Colin Kaepernick, SF
QB - Tony Romo, Dal

RB - Giovani Bernard, Cin
RB - Andre Ellington, Ari
RB - Isaiah Crowell, Cle
RB - Ryan Mathews, NO

WR - AJ Green, Cin
WR - Randall Cobb, GB
WR - Michael Floyd, Ari
WR - Brandin Cooks, NO
WR - Josh Gordon, Cle

TE - Jimmy Graham
TE - Zach Ertz

D/ST - Bengals
D/ST - Ravens
K - Dan Bailey, Dal

I might throw in one of your QBs and see if you can get a decent WR or RB back. Worth a shot. Otherwise, I'd do that deal.

Thanks Andrew. I may have to roll the dice and go with it. May be able to use Romo or Kaepernick as trade bait.

Try and throw in Kaep since u will rarely start him with Brees on ur roster. Then u can involve 1 of ur lesser valued players like Cooks.

I already tried unloading Cooks; he didn't bite, lol. I accepted the trade and put out feelers to gauge his interest in a QB.

Without throwing one of your other QBs in, I don't do this deal. Chances of you being able to trade Romo or Kaep for a WR the equal of Cobb are low. I think you are over-thinking the whole scenario. To me, you give up too much to lose Cobb for a third QB.

Good point George. I hoping that Brees will put up bigger numbers when Graham and Ingram get back in the lineup.
