trade help pt.2
someone in my league really wants g.olsen from me. He offered me either one of s.vereen or t.smith for him. I have j.thomas but worry that he could get injured. My other worry is that vereen or t.smith isnt enough compensation.
my rbs: forte, lacy, tate, ellington, r.jennings
my wrs: megatron, nelson, sanders, randle, garcon, edelman.
i might be able to get vereen and witten/walker for olsen, is that a fair deal?

I would say no. Olsen is playing at a prime lvl and while he'll nvr get the targets to supplant Thomas or Graham (because Graham is going to have a monster 2nd half) he's more valuable than either of those guys.

Another way to look at it.

If Thomas goes down, Olsen is an immediate play in your line-up. With your RB's and WR's, neither of the guys you would get may even start for you. Try and trade up. Maybe Lacy and Olsen for a McCoy or Charles. I would even consider shipping Thomas for a #1 RB or WR and plugging in Olsen.

i wonder if i could get away with one of the upper backs that isnt forte and olsen for d.thomas(who the guy also has) or something less for cobb( who this guy also owns)

Please don't trade Julius Thomas. He is the #1 TE and it's not close.

Ok Graham and Gronk are close but I wanted to get my point across :)

Oh yeah, You can put gronk in the same category of a buy low candidate. Both are poised to have big 2nd half's.

oh i wouldnt trade j.thomas unless it was for say d.murray or someone of that value

And if you can get Demaryius, grab him. The problem is going to be his last 3 weeks have been lights out. He'll have a down week. Better waiting until that happens.

oh yeah good point, however this guy is desperate for a te so i dont want to wait for to long

I think Olson for Vereen is a good deal for you. If you try and figure out injury scenarios, it could drive you crazy. If Julius gets injured, you go to the streaming at TE and hope for the best. Olson is by no means that much better than a lot of the other guys at TE on waivers. Vereen is more value, I think, than Olson.

Not enough compensation. T. Smith will not have weeks like this all the time. They are trying to sell high. Vareen isn't a sure thing either, sure he had the big game after the Ridley injury, but once again - I think this guy is trying to sell high.

I like Sean's idea of a package deal.

Vereen and Torrey don't help you. Use Olsen, package him with a WR and get an upgrade.

Offer him Olsen and WR (Garcon, Edelman, Sanders) and RB (Tate, Jennings, or Lacy) for Demaryius. It may seem like you're giving up a lot but your team is crazy deep. Having all those guys on your bench won't win you a championship. It's time to start stacking your starting lineup for the playoffs.

the real question is lacy or tate. which one do i give up, im thinking tate but both are inconsistent
    Heisenberg (482 Reputation Points)
    I'd want Lacy moving forward.
