Potential Blockbuster
I need a RB replacement for the Week 10 BYE when I lose Bradshaw (my RB2) along with all my backups RBs. I just thought of an idea to trade Bradshaw to my friend who needs help big time at the RB position for A.J. Green, and then since I'd then have Green I would trade Brandon Marshall to my friend who needs WR help for Le'Veon Bell (might have to throw in McKinnon to sweeten the deal but I think I'm willing to).

This is my team as is:
QB: Drew Brees
RB: Jamaal Charles, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jerick McKinnon, Ryan Mathews, and Knile Davis
WR: Jordy Nelson, Brandon Marshall, Michael Floyd, Andre Johnson, Odell Beckham, Jr., and Josh Gordon
TE: Martellus Bennett, Zach Ertz
D/ST: Houston Texans, streaming
K: Adam Vinatieri

I'm 4-3 right now, with a small window to make the playoffs, and an easy schedule minus that Week 10 BYE so winning that matchup might be the key for this season. What do you think?

Try tossing in Mathews first if you need to sweeten the deal for Bell. McKinnon could be a beast...he's much more than a toss-in.

That is one heck of a team, by the way, even without further trades. With it? Holy crap.

Its worth a try, but you have 2 borderline transactions that have to go through for it to work as described. I think if the Green owner is willing to part with him for just Bradshaw, you take that every time. After that what every you do about RB2, you have more room to maneuver.

Just see if you can give up bradshaw and andre johnson for Bell. Problem solved

There is someone willing to give Green for Bradshaw? You do that deal regardless of what other moves you might make.

Both of these moves sound almost too good to be possible, unless the other owners don't really know what is up. The Marshall and Mckinnon for L. Bell deal isn't bad, but there is no way I make that move (on the other person's end) for Marshall alone.

If all said you can do these things...do these things.

But do these things regardless of the bye week situation. Trying to sure yourself up for one week, unless you have a losing record and need to win ALOT to make the playoffs, is a bad idea - make season changing moves, not week changing moves.

Considering how stacked his team is, I'm guessing he's come out on top of other trades already. Guessing other owners really may NOT know what's up. :-D Wish I was in this league.

You may be right. Looks like a lot of good waiver moves also (Bradshaw, Mckinnon, Gordon, probably even Matthews, who was dropped in a lot of leagues). I am surprised to see 4-3 with that lineup, but early Charles injuries could do that I guess. Poised for a playoff push regardless
