Questions
What does everyone make of the AP situation?
Apologies if it's been asked before, but this doesn't add up. I understand all the news outlets are saying he won't play until his legal troubles are resolved, and that it's unlikely he takes a plea. But as an organization, why would you continue to pay a player unless you expected him to return at some point this year? Just for the off chance he does take a plea? Would love to hear opinions on this.

I'm no legal expert, but if they cut him, don't they lose their rights to him as a player? I'm sure they still want him to be a Viking if indeed he does take a plea.

Business decision. They're only continuing to pay him for the time being because that is the cheaper option to terminating his contract and they can't trade him.

I've heard there is very little chance he plays for the Vikings ever again. I'm picking up McKinnon and not trusting AP to bring any value for the rest of the year.
