I may be a little biased, being that I am a Rainey fan, but disagree with Jeff. After what Rainey did to the Rams, considering AP's stats in wk1: 75yds on 21 carries, Rainey obliterated their D with 144 on 22 carries. Now let's look at Atlanta's run D giving up 5 TD's to to 4 different backs in the last two weeks. Even with Martin in, expect Rainey to put up points... Asiata is going to lose plenty, if not most, to McKinnon this week and moving forward. Although Indy lands themselves in the 3rd worst run D, Gerhart has no chance with Jax O-line and playing from behind. I think you're going to have your next best option with Jackson. The Chargers have given up 3 TD's to running backs this year and not one has been on the ground. Jackson isn't a great choice, but he has been targeted more often than Spiller this season. I would bet you could get better results with Crowell, from the Browns. Definitely the elite back with Tate out and he's going to be seeing much more of the field this week.

I have all these guys (besides toby) and asked a similar question earlier today about which ones to start. I got 2 responses and both said Asiata simply because of the volume he'll get while AP is out. Although Rainey was good in his start against STL, I think Martin gets an opportunity thursday night to prove he's the lead back and expect Rainey to simply be a change of pace type guy. However, if martin doesn't claim the bell cow spot, i suspect it to be a 50 - 50 time share, which decrease the value of them both. So if i were you, i wouldn't start either tampa back (just wait and see how the split is between martin and rainey) and go with Asiata for this week.
