Trade Proposal!!! Knile davis and Pierre Garcon
Would you trade away Knile Davis for Pierre Garcon? My other RBs are Forte, ellington and my other WRs are antonio brown and andre johnson. I can start a flex - i'm thinking it's worth it since knile davis only has value for a few weeks while garcon has value for the entire season?

    Dont think of value in terms of how many points someone will put up over the year, fantasy football is weekly game, and you have to think in terms of weeks. Knile Davis is the perfect example. Simply put, Knile Davis is a RB1 for any week Jamaal Charles is out. However, any week Charles is healthy, you wont start Davis.

    So the more apt comparison would be [Knile for a few weeks, + whoever your alternative flex is thereafter for the remainder of the year ]

    VS.

    Pierre Garcon for the entire year in your flex.

    So it comes down to who is your flex alternative. I think Davis will be better than Garcon for the few weeks, so whoever your flex alternative would have to be worse than Garcon ROS. Personally, I see Garcon as the type of guy who could have a huge week or could have a dud of a week (like he did last week). However, with Cousins in, I like Garcon (they had good chemistry last year - though not so much last week).

    So to answer your question most directly, it depends on who your flex is. If it is someone like keenan allen, vjax, or gerhart, maybe you dont do it. If its someone more like Torrey Smith, Victor Cruz or Ryan Mathews, id suggest you do

    id say you should do it, maybe counter with davis for garcon + one of his bench rbs you like (carlos hyde / jeremy hill / donald brown type)
