#1 waiver priority: Use it or stay put?
I am in a 12 team std league with:
QB-Stafford/Rivers
WR-Edelman, Fitz, VJax, Wheaton
RB-Murray, Ball, Bradshaw, Moreno*, Ingram*
TE-Gates, Donnell

*Will be dropping my injured RBs (wondering if I should hold on to Moreno since his injury is upper body instead of lower body) but not sure if I should use my waiver spot for back ups that won't start over my starters barring an injury which probably would be best to pick up their own handcuffs, and bye week which would be week 4 where I could plug in Bradshaw.
My question may sound weird but I am looking at long term help vs. short term.

Please share your thoughts, Thank you

Honestly, if you're comfortable with being thin at WR, I'd say hold on to the #1 slot and then after the dust settles look for a WR that you think you're more likely to start than your backup TE (unless you're regularly using them at Flex) off FA. You could stash someone like Marvin Jones, or pick up Harry Douglas before Roddy adds another injury.

Unless there is someone you really like and just can't bear to see go to another team, might as well let the #1 priority ride.

Ah...then it might be worth using the #1 priority. I think it's a toss up between Wheaton and Jones. If you think either will clear waivers, then check tomorrow morning and grab whoever is left over for your backup TE. If not...well that's what getting first choice is for...

Oh. Then sit tight and see who's available as FA tomorrow.

If there is a good WR available I would, it would be hard to let go of Ingram and Moreno so make sure it's worth it

the best receiver available is James Jones whom i dropped a couple of weeks ago but the problem i have with him is that he has a good outing every other game.
