Just something to consider about Gordon...he just plead guilty to the DWI that happened over the summer in Carolina. That would mark that issue as "resolved" to the NFL, allowing them to take disciplinary action. Standard penalty is a suspension of two games, and there's absolutely no controversy or waiting around here; he plead guilty this morning.

So whether or not those two games get tacked on to the widely rumored 10 games that he'll be lowered to is unknown, but the NFL has never been one to allow suspension to occur concurrently...although this is a virtually unprecedented disciplinary situation, I would be the suspensions occur consecutively; as in, he'll do 10 games, then he'll do 2 more.

So that would, effectively, mean you're more than likely not playing him until around week 1 of the fantasy playoffs. And then that's assuming that he's not rusty, doesn't need time to get back in game shape, and stays healthy. So assuming you MAKE the playoffs (which is always a little harder when you're carrying a deadweight player through BYEs and injuries), you'll be graced with the decision of whether or not to start a player who hasn't played in 12 weeks, or a guy like Andre Johnson or Emmanuel Sanders.

Is it Josh Gordon you're tempted by, or Kendall Wright/Tennesee's Offense that you're worried about that's making you want to do this trade? Because I don't think either factor is worth accepting it. Gordon is hardly a temptation anymore, and Wright & Tennesee should be just fine; I wouldn't jump ship on them yet just because of last week.

I'd do it if you can. You don't need Wright, and Gordon will likely be a help during the playoffs.
