If you're trading CJ for Spiller, make sure you have depth at that position because Spiller is injury prone, yet explosive when given the chance.
If you're trading Spiller for CJ, know you're getting the same kinda player with CJ you have with Spiller, but not with the injury history really. They both will probably split the goal line carries and not be 3rd down backs, but that's a risk you can take because they're both good in the passing game as well and are matchup nightmares for average LBs. So hopefully you can decide with that being said.
Spiller has a more crowded path to guaranteed touches than Johnson, but I also think he is significantly more skilled than Johnson. I think the thing that worries me about Johnson the most is a stat that the CBS guys like to throw around a lot (can't quote it perfectly)...over the last 4 seasons (since his 2k yard season), CJ has broken 20+ yard runs significantly less and less every single year, all the way to the point where he only had 4 or something last year. I don't know how else to quantify that someone has lost their speed, but that seems to be good enough for me to prove that someone who used to rely on being a burner...just doesn't have it much anymore.
