Two Trades on the Table... Which to Pick??
Firstly, I am in an 8-team, non-PPR league with standard ESPN scoring. Here is my team:

QB: Brees, Kaepernick
RB: Stacy, Gore, Jennings, Vereen, Hyde
WR: Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Patterson, Maclin, Cooks
TE: Pitta, Reed
DST: 49ers
K: Vinatieri

I have two trades to look at, mainly for the purpose of strengthening my starting RBs. Here they are:

TRADE 1
Give: Megatron and Gore
For: Demarco Murray and Julio Jones

TRADE 2
Give: Megatron, Gore, and Jennings
For: Marshawn Lynch, Jordy Nelson, and Pierre Thomas

Which do you think is more beneficial to me? I am currently leaning towards TRADE 2.

    I like the first trade. I think Julio Jones has a great chance to end up being a top 3 wr and Frank Gore is entering his age 31 season. Demarco Murray is also playing behind one of the best offensive lines in football.

    I do like Murray behind that O-Line, but will he produce more than Lynch?

    I wouldnt do either one. Pierre thomas adds no value to trade number 2.

    I like trade number one; not crazy about trade number two. Also, you will have everyone tell you that Murray is hurt a lot because that's what all the web sites say. But, I had him last year and he was a big contributor for my club that ending up finishing second overall. I would pick him again.

    Thanks for the input, I've mostly only heard the downside of Murray. It's good to hear the other side of the story

    I like trade 1 between the 2. Demarco is a legit upgrade at RB without a ton of downside risk barring injury. Trade 2, Pierre Thomas has almost no value in a non-PPR league. And Jordy Nelson is a bigger downgrade at WR compared to Julio in trade 1.

    I can see Julio over Nelson, but is he not an injury risk still? Also, how can you say that there is not a ton of injury downside with Murray?? Just curious about your thoughts behind those

    The 2 doctor reports I read said the type of injury Julio had last year has a small risk of repeat injury. And he's looked fine in training camp. Reread what I wrote about Murray, "without a ton of downside risk barring injury."

    Do you think that Megatron and Gore are less injury prone than Lynch and Nelson or Murray and Jones?
