need some advice...newbie needs help please 10 team NON-PPR standard league
here is my team:QB: Brees, Rivers
RBS: Mc'Coy, Stacy, Gerhart, P.Thomas,J.Stewart
WRS: D.Jax, Crabtree, Colston, Watkins, Wayne
TE: Cameron
Def: SF
K: Walsh
as you can see i'm a little weak in the WR department. I was wondering if i should 1. Trade Rivers and a WR to get a #1 WR?
2. trade Brees for a #1 WR
3. just drop Rivers for another WR or RB?
if this was YOUR team...how would you improve?
there is a guy with this team: as you can see he's kinda weak at QB..i was thinking Rivers and watkins for Brandon marshall..is this fair and good for me?

0michael mitchell (441 Reputation Points)I agree with Danny B. If you want Marshall and he already has Matt Ryan, then giving him Rivers will get him anything. In all likelyhood, Rivers will just ride the pines anyway except for when Ryan goes on bye. If you want Marshall, it will take Brees + someone. As Brees >> Marshall (in my league anyway), its fair to say you can pick whomever else you want on his team for a mediocre player on yours. Arguably, by taking Marshall, you would be taking his stud WR1, thus putting him in a similar situation as you are in now, you may have to throw in an RB into the mix

0Danny B (396 Reputation Points)If you can get him to take Rivers and Watkins for Marshall, do that right away! My guess is he won't go for it, but giving it a shot couldn't hurt. If he passes on that offer, maybe try giving him Colston or Wayne (still with Rivers and in exchange for Marshall). My guess is that he would want Brees instead of Rivers, paired with one of your WRs, but if he does, maybe you can negotiate back down to Watkins.
