Josh Gordon gamble went south... help me find a replacement
Like many, I took a flyer on Josh Gordon (hoping he'd get a reduced suspension) and drafted him in the 16th round of my .5 PPR 10 team draft. Can I ask the hive mind which player from the waiver wire I should replace Gordon with? Below is my team presently:

    You have one TE and Kelce could possibly blow up. Even if he just has one big game now you can use him for trade bait. You dont need any others.

    To me, it's Jordan Matthews and here's why: Gordon was a late-round flier, right? So I'm looking for upside. Jeremy Hill's upside may be capped by Gio's presence, Christine has the Skittle Beast in his way and the tight ends are kind of interchangeable. Mathews is already playing in 3-wide sets and is behind the pedestrian Riley Cooper and the brittle Jeremy Maclin (who's already tweaked his hammy and almost hyperextended his knee making an open field cut!) Matthews, to me, has the best opportunity to pop sooner rather then later.

    I don't like any of those WR options better than the guys you already have on your roster, and you probably wouldn't play any of those guys over someone already on your bench. If you believe Jeremy Hill will do well while splitting the workload with Gio in Cincy, that could be a good way to go. He could end up being a better backup RB option than Michael if that split continues throughout the season. I might try to back up Stafford, in which case I'd take Roethlisberger. I would NOT want to back him up with Manziel though. Other than Cameron, he might not have anyone to throw to, when he eventually starts playing. I think either Hill or Roethlisberger would be your best bet.

    I think I like Jordan Mathews the best out of those guys. I also think Bowe will bounce back based off of that playoff game against the Colts where he had 150 yards.

    I would go with either Matthews, or Ladarius Green. You're pretty well set without any of them and both have huge upside. I think I lean slightly towards Green because of Reed's lack of history, as far as being a reliable #1.
