What is the Value of a Top 3 Quarterback
I have asked a question about the top 3 quarterbacks several times, and I have yet to find a satisfying answer. I am a huge advocate of drafting QB's late. 90 percent of my QB's drafted this year have been late. However, there IS a value for Manning Brees and Rodgers before the 9th round. Where is it? If everyone abides by the late rd qb strategy, there is a time to bite on an elite QB, and I know one thing for sure, it is before the 9th round. I believe Firefactor would tell you if one of the top three falls to the middle of the third round, its a steal, but since some people are saying no, I want to know what evidence we have to trump Firefactor.

i agree with noah here, i think late 4th would be worth it, although in every lg i have mocked or drafted, its not happening

I would say if one of those elite guys dropped to me in the 4th or 5th, I'd jump on it. At that point, there are question marks for all the RBs and most of the WRs available, and taking an elite QB there ensures 'hitting' on the pick. First three rounds, flex guys can be counted on more, so the reliability of those elite QBs doesn't have as much value.

Not much variation in qb's from week to week if you were to look. The difference between a Rodgers and a Romo is give or take 5 points per week if you break it down. Instead take a stud running back and get Romo, Ryan, or Brady in the 8-10th picks
