Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell & RB LeGarrette Blount charged by Ross Twp Police today w marijuana poss. Bell also charged w DUI after stop today.

Does this clear out the backfield entirely?

    I would go about it like business as usual until more news comes out. Chances are the NFL will wait to make a ruling on a suspension until all the legal matters go through. Extremely possible (maybe even probable) neither Bell or Blount miss any time this year.

    These things seem to take forever. I'd hate to build a team around Bell and lose him for time in the middle of the season. Any idea how long this typically takes?

    Depends on the situation. Back in the day Matt Jones (Jags WR) was caught with cocaine in his car and played a season and a half before it was resolved and he was suspended. The Josh Gordon situation still hasn't been resolved...Blount wasn't charged in this situation so if you're building your team around Bell make sure you have Blount too. Other than that there isn't much you can do

    They were caught with pot....one time....you know how Gordon might play this year? He was caught like three times with other charges and bad behavior in there. It's really no big deal. Worst case scenario: they miss the first game. But that shouldn't happen.
