Yea, this is right around where the line is being drawn for most folks...I think you have to respect Ball's upside a little more than Lynch's. If Ball has anywhere near the opportunity that Moreno did last year, then he is almost a lock to finish as a top RB. However, if things get screwed up early (e.g similar to what happened with Stevan Ridley last year), I don't want any part of that situation. I guess with him not playing in the preseason, the best we can do is take the Bronco's staff and reporters' word for it that he has made significant progress in pass protection and holding on to the ball - cuz issues with either one of those will sink him.

I don't think Lynch is a bad pick. I'm not sure he catches a lot of passes, so in PPR I'd probably go with Ball over Lynch...but the decision sure is close in standard scoring. I think ultimately, he does just fine and finishes squarely as a Top 10 guy. I just am not sure his upside/potential is as high as Ball's.

you make a great pt ... But just as Wsc79 stated ..theres really no stats due to his injury....and as i said on my other post... im just hesitant in giving up Lynch - he is by far my top player ...Newton not too worried about cuz i do have Russell ... but i having Montee ball questionable for the season gives me more of a reason why i should be this hesitant ....u know?

marshawn lynch or WHO? i would take the safe bet instead of betting big on someone who has proven us nothing! yes the RB spot in the denver broncos should be nice to have, but hes coming out of surgery not been able to get much reps, he did everything wrong last year even though coach Fox gave him more than enough opportunities, huge upside yes, but id let him prove himself before putting him in a conversation with a secure top 10 RB and the Rushing TD leader last year, the hawks dont throw that much!

I'll pass on Ridley and most rookie WRs. I know there may be some negativity aboutjennings, but I personally like the guy as a flex option

Marshawn Lynch is going to wear down just like Ray Rice did last year. I'd go with Montee Ball.

I agree with everything these 3 have said...
PPR league - Go with Ball
Standard league - Go with Lynch

Well Ball has more talent in Bronco's offense than knowshon did and if you look back at his fantasy numbers from last year, all signs point to Ball having a huge year

Lynch is the safer bet here. We have seen nothing out of Ball due to his surgery. Remember last year when Ball was the starter with Hillman being the the 3rd down guy? The the season started and both rode the bench while Moreno took control.

Ball has potential. But until I see something out of him I do not expect much.
