Questions
Who Should I keep in my .5 ppr keeper league?
Wherever the player was drafted the year prior is the round I use on my keeper. Should I keep:
D Thomas - 2nd rd
D. Martin - 3rd rd
Antonio Brown - 5th rd
J. Nelson - 6th rd

As much as I love Thomas the 2nd round keeper value isn't as much as either Brown or Nelson in the 5th or 6th, respectively. Doug Martin in the 3rd is out of the question as I see him on average going in round 3-4 so no value there.

I think it matters as to where you are drafting and who the other keepers are. If you have a late second round pick (i.e. early first round pick) then I am still keeping DT and getting the best available RB with my first pick. If you have a late first round pick and don't think you can get any of the top tier RB's (Charles, McCoy, Peterson, Forte, Lacy, Bernard, Murray) then I probably keep either Nelson or Brown (they are equivalent to me in this equation) then go something like RB, WR, RB, RB, considering Brown in the fifth.

Moral of this story is most people will see this question and immediately default to Brown or Nelson but I am not throwing Thomas away that easily just because he qualifies as a second round pick. He is my number 1 ranked WR this year and even though I expect him to go late first early second round like your keeper value suggests, I want him on my team.

Hmm I just love DT so much this year even with 8th pick I still think I keep him. Keepers are tough because I don't know what else everyone is keeping. If most people are keeping there top RB then you definitely stick with DT. Otherwise if you think you can get two solid RB1 and RB2 with your first two picks then keep Nelson or Brown. I will say all three WR's on this list are on my love list and I expect career years from all of them so this is a good problem to have.

I would probably do Brown and Nelson, but I can see the argument for DT. Scope out what RBs will likely be in the draft pool and decide. I would probably do Brown and Nelson and go RB heavy. If you want to keep DT then go DT and Brown and still go RB heavy with your first few picks

I'm not sure if Brown can reproduce last year, or if DMart will look as good as he did during his rookie year. I'd suggest keeping the WRs.

It's between Jordy or Antonio. It's whatever one you feel more comfortable with. Antonio will catch a ton of balls and he usually stays healthy. Jordy will be great too if he stays on the field, but his hamstring is already irritating him some. Both are great value picks, it's just who you feel safer starting every week.
