Nick Foles is my QB, do I draft a backup?

If so, which is the best option out of these: Carson Palmer, Alex Smith, or Johnny Manziel?

You should 100% get a backup. Nick Foles played incredible last year but he is still not a proven commodity. You should try to secure a value backup like Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, or even Philip Rivers.

I typically say no to drafting a backup QB. You can usually find backup QBs on the wire or stream them if you really have to. Guys like Fitz and Tannehill will likely be on the wire anyway so there is no use in drafting them. The only reason to draft a backup is if it is a guy who has high upside. Some people may consider Manziel that because of his legs, but he is a rookie so be careful with that.

I stand by not drafting a backup and looking for a sleeper instead. If you insist on grabbing one though go with Palmer. He was pretty solid 2nd half of last season and has an improved o-line he is playing behind. Potential top 12 QB #s.

Depends on if you can get a solid one with a later round pick. If yes - do it, absolutely. If you're in the Tannehill range...then no, just pick one up off waivers if you need one.

Yes. Absolutely. I'm thinking about taking him if he drops enough. I would go with Alex Smith first, then Carson Palmer, then Johnny Manziel. Ryan Tannehill and Ryan Fitzpatrick are options too.

You can't go off schedule alone, but I believe Tannehill has the least opposition all year, so he is a solid fill in.
