Increased QB scoring - Impacts?
I'm a new PPR league where the QB scoring is: 1pt/10yds passing, 4/TD, -3/INT, -1/sacked, and normal for rushing. How does this scoring impact the replaceability of QBs, and how much earlier/who should I be looking to draft at QB?

The QB position is deep this year! Taking your scoring into consideration, guys like Manning and Brady arent really THAT much valuable than say Griffin or Russ or maybe even Luck. Id wait to get my QB and fill up the other spots solidly!

This is an excellent question b/c I have a similar issue in my league where we have 6 pts per passing TD and 15 yds/1 pt for QBs. I'm 5th pick overall and I entered my scoring into numberFire's suggested rankings and it ranked D. Brees 5th overall and P. Manning 10th overall. If I take Brees (or Manning) at the 5 spot, then I'm able to take a top WR with my next pick (snake format), but I don't get a great RB whereas I could have taken Forte or Lacy with my first pick. I have no idea what I'm going to do yet. Would love to hear some responses on this.

I think you gotta go with a RB in this situation, especially this year. I have Lacy myself and actually kept Foster as my 2nd keeper. Guaranteed touches as oppose to WR's. I'm waiting on my QB pick and hoping to get maybe Luck, RG3, Ryan, or Cutler.

I wouldn't really change might strategy, just wait, wait and wait some more and then get Jay Cutler.

How long would you recommend I wait? I'm high on Cutler too, but don't want to wait so long I miss out on him

I would wait till the mid 8th early 9th to get him.

In my opinion, the QB position is still very deep and the big difference in scoring in your league (specifically the 1pt/10yds passing instead of 1pt/25yds in normal leagues) wouldn't make me draft one much earlier. I think this does take some of the advantage running QB's (RG3, Kaep, Wilson, etc.) would normally have away as the rushing yards are the same as passing yards, so I'd downgrade those QB's a little.
