So 6th pick. Should I take Calvin with a plan to trade him right after the draft? (10 Team PPR)
Assuming that Charles, Shady, AP, Forte, and Lacy have already been taken in the first five picks. I see a little bit of a drop off in value after those five. Theres other potential RB 1s available (Lynch, Foster, Ball, Murray), but each one has a question mark or two about them. Would selecting Calvin in the first round with a plan to seek a trade afterwards a good idea? I personally think hes a little overrated so I could be able to get good value if I involve him in a trade

Yeah I would probably grab Calvin there. I think you hit the nail on the head - he is widely accepted as the best WR in the league, so holds plenty of trade value (although I think he is going to be great this year, so I would hold him). The RBs all have a much higher bust rate and, as you suggested, you should still be able to get one of Lynch / Foster / Murray / Ball in the second round. If not I would probably take Dez / Demaryius / AJ Green / Graham and then load up on RBs in the next 3 or 4 rounds.

Hien, that's a nice strategy out of the box. Lions play Giants first game at home ... the go to Panthers, it seems you could get big value 2 for 1 or more trade if he blows up vs Giants.

Can you try to trade back in your draft, before the draft even happens? Maybe you could move from 6 back to 9 and pick up an extra 4th rounder or something similar

Nah my league doesn't do draft trades. I had the choice of choosing a pick like 9 but i chose six because i didnt want to choose latei in the third. I think theres a bit of a drop off in value around the middle of the third round, so i chose sixth in the hope of getting doug martin, ellington or bush . If i choose a wr i'd hope either antonio brown or randall cobb is still there

I'd still take a top RB until pick 8 or 9 before considering a top WR even in PPR.

Well i think in terms of value thats true, but im confident that i can still get one of those top rbs (Lynch,Foster,Ball,Murray, or even Bell) in the second round
