Asked this before, but just wanted to see how I was standing as we get closer to the start of the season (sorry for the repetition)10-team, standard scoring league
QB: Kaepernick
RB: Forte, Murray, Gio, Sankey, Pierce, J. Hill, Devonta Freeman, Stewart, D. Brown
WR: VJax, DJax, Torrey, Maclin, Hopkins
TE: Cameron
K: None yet
D/ST: None yet
Best free agents: Roethlishberger, Randle, B. Cooks, K. Benjamin, K. Stills, J. Matthews, J. Cotchery, Malcom Floyd, C. Clay, H. Miller, L. Green, Steelers (playing Browns in week 1), Eagles (v JAX) and Detroit (v NYG)
Players that might be available to trade: Foles, K. Allen, Cobb, Nelson, Roddy
Are there any changes that you would recommend? If you think I should trade for any of the above, please suggest what you think would be a good / fair trade.

1brickthrees (500 Reputation Points)You have a nice RB stable. I'll call it RB Hoarding - & see which one hits. of the available WRs mentioned, Allen, Jordy, and Cobb will be expensive. Roddy White is intriguing - Falcons just gave him an extension & he looks to be healthy, AND he is undervalued at the moment.1 Comment↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Allen, Jordy and Cobb all got drafted to pretty weak teams, so may be able to make a trade there. But yeah roddy would be a nice addition, particularly if he cost something like Torrey + one of those backup RBs

1TJ Langley (500 Reputation Points)I'd try to package DJax and either Gio or Sankey for an upper tier, consistent WR (Jordy, Cobb, White) along with a backup RB with sneaky upside (Spiller, Gerhart, Vereen, etc...). Your goal should be to upgrade your WR2 from a boom/bust type of player to a steady player, while minimizing your loss at RB.

1Ben Verwegen (500 Reputation Points)Is the Randle that is available Rueben?! If so add him!3 Comments↳Ben Verwegen (500 Reputation Points)Other than that…I think Kaep will be fine as your QB. Definitely the ability to put up top 10 #'s. I would also grab Roethlisberger for your backup. Like someone else suggested, drop Stewart and D. Brown.↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Yeah its Rueben - completely forgot about Joseph Randle. As I asked Ian - is it better to pick up guys like Roethlisberger & Randle (that would make my team more well rounded) or to hold onto Stewart and Brown who I think could be more valuable in a 2-for-1 trade (everyone already has 2 QBs and plenty of WRs, but there are a few guys that are quite short at RB)↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)With Ray Rice only suspended 2 games, do you think Brown or Stewart might be better to keep than Pierce (I think that he is further from a starting role than either of them, and 2 games is not long enough to really add much value / win the starting role)?

1Rob S (432 Reputation Points)What are your league starting requiements? If you start 2 RBs and a flex, this is a good team as is. But if you can't start all 3 RBs (Forte, Demarco, Gio), then I think you need to make a trade ASAP for a top WR - like Sankey & Djax for a top 10 WR. Or even Gio & Torrey for top 3 WR. You're loaded at RB - I think u need to use that as an asset to acquire WR help. Maybe even QB help - I'm not sold on Kap as a starter in a 12 team league, nevermind a 10 team. But overall, you have a lot to work with. I good trade and you're golden.2 Comments↳Rob S (432 Reputation Points)that should read 1 good trade & you're golden.↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)yeah, 2 RBs and a flex. Not sold on Kaep either, but only grabbed a QB when everyone was grabbing their backups - 15th QB off the board. Trading up at QB would be fairly straightforward, could probably do Sankey for Foles (and then probably Foles for Cam / RG3 if I wanted). Or trading for a WR, I might be able to do Sankey + DJax for Alshon (maybe)? Not sure if Sankey + DJax could get me any better than that, and not sure if I'd want to give up that much for Jordy / Cobb / Antonio Brown

1Michael Rehal (593 Reputation Points)you could use some help at WR, but your RB depth is pretty damn good. you could always try to trade some of that depth for a WR such as Nelson.5 Comments↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Yeah. Nelson is a guy I'm looking to make a trade for. What do you think would be a reasonable offer to try land jordy? DJax + Devonta Freeman (guy has SJax)?↳Michael Rehal (593 Reputation Points)well, i think djax will probably have a good season (and I'm an eagles fan). you don't know what sankey and freeman will be this year, so see what you can get based purely on hype.↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Yeah. My concern is that DJax and VJax are both really hit and miss players, so could lose weeks if they both miss out↳Michael Rehal (593 Reputation Points)Yeah, they are both hit or miss for sure. I had VJax in a league last year and he is a rollercoaster...3 points one week, 35 the next. too inconsistent for me↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)haha. exactly. oh well. hopefully i can find someone to trade for one of these guys though

1Ian Baker (451 Reputation Points)WR depth is not a strength but your Rb depth is unreal 3 guys in my top 10 backs and a close one with sankey is great i would trade one of those guys for a WR but your wrs are managable and will produce good enough to keep you in games i would give you an A-, also pick up cooks and or matthews and drop brown and or stewart3 Comments↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)I will have to drop 2 players later to grab a K and a D/ST anyway, so I am hoping to make 2-for-1 trades to improve my WRs. My thinking behind holding all those RBs is that the position is a lot more scarce, so the potential value of those guys in a trade is greater than that of the WRs - basically I think I am more likely to get someone to trade with a RB-WR package instead of WR-WR. Does that make sense? Or am I better off grabbing the guys I think are most likely to be fantasy relevant (Cooks / Matthews and maybe roethlisberger given my doubts about Kaep)?↳Ian Baker (451 Reputation Points)Ya that makes sense and it may work, just have to remember trades are a sure thing and people always want more. So i love the depth at RB but if no one trades you, you are in a tough spot. Yeah I really like cooks, could be a top25 receiver with brees and no moore or sproles and a fading colston.↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Given that Ray Rice is only going to miss 2 games, would Pierce be a better option to drop? I think post suspension he will be further from a starting role than either Brown or Stewart

1Eamonn Choukrane (665 Reputation Points)You don't have a true WR1 but that is made up for with your RB depth so there nothing I would change and on a scale if 1 to ten I would go 8.51 Comment↳Warren Rixon (389 Reputation Points)Yeah, was very happy to get Forte and Murray, and then liked Gio better than the remaining WRs
