The only spot you could possibly take Graham in the first round is late. 10th-12th pick. I have him valued at the end of the second round. I know most people will draft him higher than that, so I don't plan on having him in any of my leagues and I am perfectly fine with that.

I wouldn't recommend getting him in the first round. If you do, you give up a chance to get an elite running back, which is extremely hard to find in later rounds

But who would you say is an elite RB after MCCoy, Charles, AP, Forte and Lacy? That's only 5 picks. I think Graham is an option any time after 6 - those 5 RBs and Calvin. I'm not sure I'd pull the trigger there but I can understant why it's a thought for some. He's no worse than top 12 IMO.

in the automated mock draft wizard at fantasy pros im almost never happy with my team when i pick him 1st .somehow i think its indicative of how an actual draft will go?

    ^^^sorry not indicative

Theres still marshawn, foster, demarco or ball. Besides that i think calvin, dez bryant, or demaryius is a better option than graham in the first round

Agree that Calvin, Dez & Demaryius are better options. But disagree with the notion Foster or Ball are elite 1st rd RBs. They are risky 1st rd picks IMO. Graham at 10,11,12 carries much less risk.

Looking at the FireFactor metric for a .25ppr league (I ran this for my league), he comes in at 105. This puts him equivalent to WR's in the Cobb, Nelson, and Jeffery range, and RB's below Stacy , Bush, Ellington, and Gore, but above Rashad Jennings, Trent Richardson, and Chris Johnson

Looking at it a different way, Graham worth 5ppg more than the "average" tier of guys like Olsen, Reed, Pitta, etc... The RB tier of Lacy, Bell, Ball, and Murray are worth roughly 5ppg more than the above mentioned "average" RB tier (Johnson, Jennings, etc...).

Therefore, the numbers indicate Graham is worth anywhere from the 5th RB down to the 18th RB. It just depends upon how you like to set up your team.

If in a 12 man league or so I would pick him up between 10-12 then go for an elite RB or WR. Plenty of depth at WR so look for a Murray, Bell or Ball for the start of the second round. You can easily pick up quality WR cover in the 3rd and 4th while the TE levels drop off.

Frankly, I think Graham (and Calvin and Peyton) are fair game after Charles, McCoy, Peterson, Forte and Lacy are off the board. I could go on forever about why I feel this way, but there are tons of analysts and experts out there that have already made the argument for it, and their explanation is far more thorough than mine would be.

i'd anchor with a top tier RB first 6 picks. A later pick you can make the case for adding a top WR, Peyton, or Graham. But it all depends how your league drafts, and where the players fall to you.
