Peterson vs Forte
I have the 3rd pick in my upcoming draft. My first pick will most likely come down to AP or Forte. I'd love to hear your opinions on why I should lean towards one over the other, thanks!

0Rob S (432 Reputation Points)I'll echo the others - Forte in PPR, AP in standard.

0Justin Roland (308 Reputation Points)In a PPR league, I advise Matt Forte, but in standard ESPN scoring, I just don't know how you go away from the most freakishly talented RB in the league. If AP stays healthy, its AP all day. For Forte to win out in a standard league, you have to bank on AP getting hurt IMO. I have to take AP in standard scoring.

0brickthrees (500 Reputation Points)Forte in PPR. Forte slightly over AP in standard. Bears other weapons will give Forte more running room, to catch the ball in space in a more potent offense. I don't see Vikings scoring a lot this year.

0anon amos (500 Reputation Points)i would go with AP based on ability and the offense going thru him.

0Ryan Sample (500 Reputation Points)PPR=Forte. Non-PPR=AP. 1/2? either way. It's a good decision to have to make.

0Eamonn Choukrane (665 Reputation Points)This is so hard but I have to go Forte.

0Jim Halpin (488 Reputation Points)if it came down to those two, assuming mccoy and charles went 1 & 2... i think at pick #3 you still hafta go with AP. norv turner will run the ball alot with AP and also get him into space for receptions. don't get me wrong forte i think is going to have a great year but i think more of the offense is going to center around getting the ball out to marshall and jeffrey alot more this year under trestman.
