Questions
I give Bernard Pierce + DJax, I receive Andre Johnson + Reggie Wayne
I had this trade offered to me - don't like it at all.

I was thinking of countering with Pierce + DJax for Welker OR Pierce + Torrey for AJ + Reggie - what do you guys think of these trades?

Do not take this trade. Pierce has potential upside by virtue of starting while Rice is suspended multiple games. DeSean still has value as a deep threat with speed. Andre Johnson is sour apples this season, no matter where he plays. And Reggie Wayne, WILL get injured sooner than you think.

As for, Welker - he's on his last legs, basically Broncos brought in Emmanuel Sanders to replace him, once he gets concussed again. Also note Torrey, has value being the WR1 target in Baltimore.

Yeah fair enough. Although Pierce has potential value,

Warren, what do you think of Emmanuel Sanders? in one league i plan on targeting either him vs Golden Tate as a mid-round WR2/3??

he just has next to no chance of being at all useful to my team - I have Forte, Murray, Gio, Sankey that should play most weeks, and then Pierce, Jeremey Hill, Devonta Freeman, Donald Brown and Jonathan Stewart that I am hoping to package into trades), so yeah happy to take a loss on the value of these guys to get an improvement at WR (where I have VJax, DJax, Torrey, Maclin and Hopkins) or QB (Kaepernick).

I'd prefer Tate. I think he is going to have a big year - will benefit from playing opposite CJ and playing for a team that likes to air it out. Sanders I'm not sold on. Lots of competition for looks in Denver, but they will put up a ton of offense so could be alright. Bt yeah I'd go with Tate

thanks Warren, i'd lean toward Tate - as well

Definitely don't accept the proposed one. I wouldn't trade to acquire AJ or Reggie. Reggie old and coming off an ACL tear, AJ won't get traded to a contender (hefty cap hit) and has the worst QB situation in the league.

Pierce has a shot to be the lead back and DJax won't match last years numbers but should still be a viable player.

Yeah that is kind of my thinking too, however I would love an upgrade at WR (currently my WRs are VJax, DJax, Torrey, Maclin and Hopkins) and I have plenty of RB depth

also, probably shouldve mentioned - its a 10-team, standard scoring, re-draft league

I actually love the WR group you have. All should be able to post WR2 numbers (minus Hopkins). Pierce could post RB1 numbers if he is fast out of the gate.

I don't think I have a bad group, I am just worried about VJax being inconsistent, DJax regressing, Torrey being solid but unspectacular, Maclin getting injured and Hopkins playing for the Texans

Pierce is likely to be the feature back in a run-based offense, and Jackson the WR1 in a WCO. Welker isn't worth both imo.

Pierce and torrey for Green and Wayne might be good. Who are your other RBs?

Pierce would be 5th choice at best - behind Forte, Murray, Gio and Sankey (plus Jeremy Hill & Devonta Freeman). Also, I meant Andre Johnson - not AJ Green.
