Keeper Question
Hey guys, this is a general strategy question. So in my keeper league this year the only notable RBs available will be:

Lacy, Martin, Morris, Foster, Lynch, Bush, Spiller, Gerhart, Gore, Sankey, Vereen, Tate, Rice, Ridley, Richardson

The WRs are more plentiful:

CJ, DT, AJ, DEZ, Marshall, Julio, Cobb, Patterson, Vjax, Ajax, Garcon, Fitz, White, Welker, TSmith, JGraham (No TE League)

All QBs are available except for Rodgers

Standard scoring 12 team league 4 pt passing td: QB, WRx2, RBx2, Flex (RB/WR/TE), K, D.

My first picks are 1.07, 2.06, 3.05, 3.07, 5.07, 6.08,

My Keepers are Joique (7th rd), Keenan Allen (8th rd), Christine Michael (8th) rd.

What strategy would you use? My VBD intellisense says grab RBs in the first 2 round if Lacy, Martin, Morris, Foster, Lynch fall to me otherwise go elite WRs and grab two RB2s in the 3rd round. What do you guys think. I feel either my team is gonna have Martin+Morris something like that and Garcon/Allen/And like Torrey Smith or it will have Dez/Marshall and like Gerhart/Sankey or spiller or trich. What do you guys think? I feel like I rather have stable RBS and solid #2 Wrs with some upside and maybe mix in a cordarelle patterson with WR1 upside then the Gerharts of the world. My other strategy would be to grab that elite WR in round 1 and hope one that Morris or Martin drop to me in the 2nd. What do you think? Thanks Much!

    I think getting the best players over replacement is a wise approach, which is where you're coming from with the VBD-style stuff. Just use our Cheat Sheet (shameless plug) and see which players have the best FireFactor, adjust for your own biases and thoughts, and go from there. Personally, I would probably snag one of those receivers, as I believe the best receivers are better than the best backs of the ones you listed. You have good draft assets in the first three rounds, so you should be able to get out with a loaded skill position group before hitting up QB later.

    Most of the other ones have said it, but if Megatron is available he is your pick, after that it is best RB avail.

    I agree on arranging into tiers. My tiers for those top 2 picks would go:

    1. Calvin/DT
    2. Dez/Lynch/Lacy
    3. AJ/Marshall/Julio
    4. Graham/Foster/Martin

    I would have these guys in tiers:
    1 - Lacy / CJ
    2 - Lynch
    3 - Foster / DT / Dez / AJ / Graham
    4 - Julio / Marshall / Martin / Morris
    5 - Cobb / Bush / Spiller / VJax / Fitz / Garcon
    6 - Everyone else (too lazy to split the rest - but probably like Roddy, Sankey and Gerhart the most of the remainder)
