Best to Worst (0.5 PPR) - V. Jax, Cruz, A. Johnson, Welker, Garcon

I've got GarÃ§on at the end of that list but only because of the unknown, I havnt watched much of him and with D. Jackson in Was he may lose targets.

Garcon would actually be first on that list for me. You could argue that there are a lot of mouths to feed in Washington right now, but Jay Gruden is going to make sure the ball gets put in the air a lot, and frankly I believe that Garcon is going to be the #1 guy there, and biggest benefactor of an upgraded passing game. Especially in any form of PPR scoring, as he's typically more of a volume guy.

I would order the list as follows

1. Garcon
2a. VJax
2b. A. Johnson
3. Welker
4. Cruz

I feel like you could flip a coin over who is going to score more points between VJax and Johnson, but if I had my pick of the two I'd go with VJax because of TD potential. Welker is not a bad WR, but the concussion/injury risk scares me, and there is bound to be some regression in that offense, and he is really the one WR in that corps. whose replacement (Lattimer) is already on the roster, waiting in the wings. Cruz is just meh...he's not a high volume target/catch guy, the TD potential is flukey, and you never know what you're going to get from his QB.

When it comes down to it, Cruz is really the only guy I WOULDN'T want on my team out of those 5...but that's how I'd order them if I had to decide who to draft. Probably the only one I'm going out of my way to acquire is Garcon, though.

Agreed. Victor Cruz was awesome for me 2-3 years ago and under that mindset I drafted him a year ago and his production really went down. This year i'm not gonna draft him, but i'll keep an eye on him out of curiosity.

I agree with your comment but not your ranking. Outside of Welker's health gamble, I would bump him to second. One doesn't know Houston's new offense and/or QB situation. Also, which Eli Manning will show up this year, Superbowl winner or interception slinger?
