Antonio Gates or Ladarius Green?

    Gates. You don't take a $7 million cap hit (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/san-diego-chargers/antonio-gates/) for a TE to have him be your back up to a 3rd year player.

    With that said, SD will likely try to utilize both TEs, but in the end Gates is going to get more looks

    Antonio Gates. He is the TE1 in San Diego. Ladarius Green may surpass him this year but as of now you have to take the person who is higher on the depth chart. Me personally, I wouldn't take Gates because of the presence of Green, but that does not mean I would take Green OVER Gates. There are still a lot of TE's to take this year, so I would go in that option. In a deep league, I would draft Green as a TE2 for pure upside reasons.

    I'd rather have Green backing up my Heath Miller or Martellus Bennett rather than have Gates as my starter or backup if that makes sense. If I could only carry one, I suppose it would be Gates.

    Ladarius, by a mile in Keeper leagues. Ladarius in regular leagues also, as the veteran Gates goes down for the count with injuries again.
